Forgiveness and peace
Forgiveness frees an anger, brings our tensions to an end.
Forgiveness heals the broken, helps an injured soul to mend.
For so our Lord does teach us that forgiveness lies within,
That battles will end their cry when forgiveness does begin.
Peace comes from our forgiveness, both of the world and inside.
Peace brings an understanding, so people no longer hide.
For so the Lord does show us that forgiveness brings us love,
That forgiveness brings us hope and joy from the Lord above.
